This policy explains what personal data Tonecrowd (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Who we are

Tonecrowd is a social network for musicians operated at tc.haveto.dev (parent site haveto.dev). Contact for privacy requests: havetodev@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Account data — name, email, password hash (if you register with email), profile picture.
Social login — when you sign in with Google or Facebook we receive your provider user id, name, email, and profile picture (as allowed by that provider).
Profile & content — musician/band/studio profiles, posts, comments, replies, reactions, uploaded images/audio, and private messages you send.
Technical data — session tokens (stored client-side and on our servers), approximate usage logs needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use data

To create and authenticate your account.
To show your profile and content to other users of Tonecrowd.
To deliver private messages and notifications related to the product.
To moderate content for safety (including automated checks where enabled).
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We use processors that help us run the product, for example:

Hosting / database / cache infrastructure.
Google (Sign-In, and optionally Cloud Storage / moderation APIs).
Meta / Facebook (Facebook Login, if you choose that sign-in method).

Public profile information and posts you publish are visible to other Tonecrowd users. Private messages are visible only to participants of that conversation.

5. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. After a verified deletion request we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data. See our User data deletion page, or email havetodev@gmail.com.

7. Children

Tonecrowd is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Tonecrowd after updates means you accept the revised policy.
